Summary:
The Customer Support Representative is a key member of the administrative service team supporting customer orders entry, change order management, quotations, data entry and reporting from the ERP system.
The Customer Support Representative is a high energy, highly engaged role that will interact with multiple functions across the organization to provide an outstanding experience for our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to communicate with detailed clarity about customer orders, changes, processes, and products.
Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritize various projects simultaneously for multiple internal and external customers.
Manage a heavy data entry workload with meticulous attention to detail and follow up.
Support the contract review process and the input of customer orders into the ERP system.
Regularly review and align existing customer order schedules with revised customer orders schedules.
Read, comprehend and be able to summarize instructions, correspondence, memos, and customer order requirements.
Support the return material authorization (RMA) and credit memo processes as required.
Credit Card processing and reconciliation.
Support special projects as assigned.
Additional Duties:
Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.
Other duties, reporting, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned.
Must remain current with, and complete all required training as assigned.
Must adhere to Company Corporate EHS Policy and department, occupation, and task specific safety protocols, including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years full time work in a professional business setting preferred Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role preferred Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company.
Must take medical exams required by law, in conjunction with occupation specific activities, the physical work environment, and ongoing industrial hygiene sampling results.
Depending on assignment, may be required to use stairs, remain upright and/or seated for prolonged timeframes, intermittently reposition the body per various tasks performed, and use various tools and work-related supplies.
May be required to perform manual lifting activities, not to exceed a 40lb lift performed by one individual.
Proficient personal computer skills including, record-keeping, routine database activity (ERP system), and MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Associates Degree Preferred.
