Summary:
The Warranty Clerk at Bryson Sales & Service Inc.
plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing and management of warranty claims for school buses.
This position involves meticulous record-keeping, excellent communication with team members, and adherence to company and manufacturer guidelines to uphold the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Warranty Claim Processing:
Accurately and promptly process warranty claims for Blue Bird school buses.
Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted in compliance with manufacturer requirements.
Collaborate with the service and parts departments to gather relevant information for warranty claims.
Record-Keeping:
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of warranty claims, including supporting documentation and correspondence.
Utilize electronic systems and software to track and manage warranty information efficiently.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between the dealership, customers, and the manufacturer regarding warranty-related matters.
Keep customers informed about the status of their warranty claims and address any inquiries they may have.
Compliance:
Stay informed about manufacturer warranty policies and guidelines.
Ensure all warranty claims meet the necessary criteria and comply with established procedures.
Quality Control:
Collaborate with the quality control team to identify patterns or trends in warranty claims and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Training and Development:
Stay updated on new product releases, features, and technical information related to Blue Bird school buses.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and warranty claim processing skills.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in warranty processing, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using computer software and electronic systems.
Professional Appearance.
Ability to interact professionally across all departments within the company as well as with customers, vendors, and the public.
